Before God is a place to bring the matters of your life honestly before God and receive a discernment reading prepared under a Christian doctrinal framework, together with faithful next steps you may choose to walk. Every reading is a step in discernment, not a final word from God, and the app never claims to speak for Him.

Before God offers Christian discernment for reflection. It is not professional advice — not medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice — and it is no substitute for a pastor, counselor, doctor, or other qualified help. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

Because safety governs everything in the app, a reading may sometimes be delayed or accompanied by help resources. That behavior is part of the service, not a fault in it.

You sign in with Apple and are responsible for keeping your device and Apple account secure. You must be at least 13 to use Before God. You can delete your account at any time from the You page; what happens to your data then is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Everything you write in Before God remains yours. You give us only the limited permission we need to operate the service: to store what you bring, to process it — including with AI assistance under our governance — to prepare your reading and the steps that follow, and to run the safety checks described in the Privacy Policy. We never sell what you bring and never use it to train AI models.

You agree to bring only what is yours to bring — nothing unlawful, and nothing intended to harm, harass, or expose another person.

You agree not to misuse the service: no attempts to probe, overload, or interfere with it; no reverse engineering; no automated scraping; no using the service to build a competing dataset; and no attempts to manipulate the AI systems it relies on. We may suspend or end access that violates these terms or puts other people at risk.

Before God is offered in an early form and will change. Features may be added, altered, or removed as the product grows. If and when paid features are offered, purchases will be handled by Apple under their payment terms, and the relevant pricing will be shown to you plainly before you pay. Safety features will never be behind a paywall.

We work to keep the service available, careful, and truthful, but it is provided “as is”: we can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and a reading’s usefulness depends on honest input and remains a matter for your own judgment and counsel before God.

To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the service.

You may stop using Before God, or delete your account, at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, after which the deletion promises in the Privacy Policy apply. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive (ownership of your content, disclaimers, limitations) survive termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and disputes belong to the courts there. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stands. If these terms change materially, the date above changes and the app will tell you plainly.
