The beginning
You do not need to arrive with the right words, or know exactly what you are asking. Begin with what is happening and why it matters to you.
It may be a change at work, a difficult conversation, a responsibility you are weighing, or something you have carried for a long time. There is room for a small question as well as a heavy concern.
Questions shaped around you.
Thoughtful questions follow your situation, one at a time. They help you consider what has happened, what you hope for, and what may be difficult to admit. You can take your time with an answer.
The reading
What you bring is considered with care. A reading is prepared around your situation, with Scripture as its ground and room for honest uncertainty.
You encounter the passages drawn on, an explanation of how they bear on the matter, and concerns worth examining. The reading may offer encouragement, challenge an assumption, or help you see where patience or counsel is needed.
Something to consider prayerfully.
The reading helps you discern. Your judgement and responsibility remain yours. It will never claim to know God’s private will for your life or promise that a particular choice will work out.
Fruit
Where appropriate, a reading offers practical steps fitted to the matter: a conversation to have, a fact to establish, a responsibility to face, or wise counsel to seek.
Fruit gives those steps a place in everyday life. You can record what happened, acknowledge that you are still working through something, and return to the reading that gave it shape.
Room for an honest account.
You do not need to make the story sound successful. A difficult attempt, an unresolved concern, or the choice to set something down belongs here too. There are no streaks or scores for faithfulness.
Prayer
Some things need to be carried in prayer. Write a prayer or praise in your own words, keep it, and return to it. Offered prayers can also give you words to begin with.
An amen is yours to offer. A quiet visit is enough. Prayer is a private place, and what you write there does not automatically become part of the discernment of a matter.
As life unfolds
Some matters settle quickly. Others remain with us. Return to your reading, reflect on what has happened, or lay a matter to rest without having to claim that everything is resolved.
Being developed
We are building richer ways to keep the story over time: revisit earlier reflections, add later understanding while preserving your original words, and explore Scripture in its surrounding context.
Gentle reminders, chosen by you, are also being developed. The intention is simple: help you return when it is useful, with room to pause, stop, and let a matter rest.

What can I bring?
A decision, a relationship, a conflict, a recurring habit, or an ongoing concern. Begin with the real situation in your own words. You do not need to know which category it belongs in.
Will it tell me what God wants me to do?
It offers a reading grounded in Scripture to help you consider the matter. It does not speak for God, promise an outcome, or take responsibility for your decision. Sometimes a faithful next step is to wait, gather facts, or seek counsel.
Does Before God use AI?
Yes. AI assists with the questions and the preparation of a reading. Readings are examined before they reach you, under a Biblical framework. The experience remains humble about uncertainty and does not present AI as spiritual authority.
What if things are still unresolved?
You can return, reflect, or set a matter down. You do not owe the app a positive ending, and taking a step is not a claim that the whole concern has been resolved.
